ESP32-powered fully open-source smartwatch based on the Watchy open-source platform, featuring an E-Ink (E-Paper technology) wide-angle screen.
Originally created by makers for the maker community, this futuristic wearable has a "barebones" design featuring the PCB itself as the watch body, which can be worn as-is or upgraded/customized with different 3D printed cases and custom watch straps.
The E-Paper display technology delivers a beautiful crisp image clearly visible under bright sunlight, offering a distinctive monochrome aesthetic. It also supports a wide variety of watch faces and wallpapers you can choose from, and you can also create wallpapers from scratch or customize existing ones with a bit of coding skills.
It has both WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to to connect the watch to internet APIs such weather, news, Spotify, traffic, maps, etc.
The watch automatically wakes up every 60 seconds to check the accelerometer and other information, and updates the electronic paper display screen with the latest information. Some dials also turn on WiFi to obtain weather data.
When used for time only, the battery life lasts up to 7 days, but when advanced features such as WiFi are used, the battery life should be 2-3 days.
It is a unique and futuristic timepiece that is also a wearable platform, allowing users to create their own experience.
