There's something strange in your neighborhood. Meet the Reebok Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers Sneakers with aesthetics inspired by the classic 80s blockbuster.
Its silhouette, developed specially for this cinematic collaboration, features an interesting combination of the iconic Ecto-1 and the Neutrona Wand wielded by the original team.
It features a detachable proton pack on the heel that mimics the film's iconic power tools and translucent tubes extending from the removable Pump proton pack at the heel that glows in the dark.
The adjustable straps secure the white leather upper, treated to a weathered effect and accented with a hand-drawn Ghostbusters logo on the exposed foam tongue.
The white leather upper comes with a streak of red across the ankle as a reference to the Ecto-1’s red streak near the back of the car, and there's a 1980s lab-inspired detailing on both the forefoot and collar's Velcro straps.
As a final touch and homage to the film, the velcro strap reveals a “Who you gonna call?” tagline on one side, and “We’re ready to believe you” hotline printed onto the other.
The box is a work of art apart. It has an incredible design work and theme that perfectly matches the franchise motifs and fun vibe.
